Breathing exercises to improve your life.

Breath Ball helps you to cope with Stress. It is surprisingly simple and takes only three steps:

  1. Take yourself a few minutes of time.
  2. Sit down comfortably.
  3. Breathe in the rhythm of the Breath Ball:
    • Inhale deeply into your belly while the ball gets bigger.
    • Hold your breath while the ball keeps its size.
    • And exhale while the ball gets smaller.

After three minutes you will notice a deep relaxation and inner calm. A state of mindfulness.

Michael Holl

This is Gernots story, who went on Rehab after a radiation therapy that aimed to kill his brain tumor. At rehab, he met Dr. Wolfhard Klein, an expert in cardiac coherence and bio-feedback training, who teaches his clients the following breathing technique to help them cope with stress:

  1. Inhale deeply into your belly for five seconds.
  2. Exhale completely for another five seconds.
  3. Repeat for three to five minutes.

Although this is a simple technique, it is very effective, and has already helped thousands to cope with life’s most difficult situations. Learning it however, can be challenging.

So Gernot asked his friend Michael to make an app that helps in learning this breathing exercise. An afternoon later, we had a first prototype and Breath Ball was born. Four months later, on 23rd of May 2017, Breath Ball version 1.0 was released to the public.
Today Gernot is doing well and Breath Ball is still actively developed and maintained.

Over the years the Breath Ball users shared their suggestions for improvements. This feedback has always been highly appreciated, as it drove Breath Ball’s development. So, if you have any ideas on how to make Breath Ball better, please contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,
All the best,
Gernot, Wolfhard, Michael, and the rest of the Breath Ball Team.
